Ladies it is important to take care of your skin year round,
no mater what the occasion. If your big
day is just around the corner, its not too late get that baby booty smooth,
flawless skin we all want. Let me share a few tips as to how to achieve the
skin you’ve always dreamed of.
Tip 1: Stay Hydrated
95-97% of
the body is water. When you lack water
it shows in your dry flaky skin. Aint but so much a moisturizer can do.
Tip 2: Take a daily multivitamin
If you’re
in child bearing age this a must for you anyway, weather your planning a
pregnancy or not. Lets be real…..most of
us don’t eat the amount of fruits and vegies we should daily. The multivitamin helps with the nutrients
we’re missing from our diets. Vitamins
A/Beta Carotene, Omega-3 fatty acids, Zinc, Vitamin C, E, and B are nutrients
that help with skin, hair, and nail growth.
But don’t over do them…..some can be toxic.

Tip 3: Use a cleanser and moisturizer for your skin type
If you have
dry skin….why in the world are you using a cleanser for normal or oily
skin. Here’s a quick test….take a tissue
square, and dab your forehead and nose…if you see oil on the tissue you have
oily skin.

spots) Prone Skin – Mary Kay Velocity facial cleanser, lightweight moisturizer,

Tip 4: Remove some of that dead skin from your face….it
won’t hurt
Microdermabrasion:
used after cleansing the skin the microbeads help remove dead skin from your
skin. For best results use 3 times a
week, but not back to back days. Give
your skin time to recover.
Suggestions:
Mary Kay Time Wise Microdermabrasion. I
use this after cleansing with Velocity.
Tip 5: Limit the amount of products used on our face in the
morning.
I ‘ve found
this to be very helpful. I use the
Microdermabrasion at night because it has a moisturizer that goes with in and I
don’t want to weigh my skin through the day.
Tip 6: PROPERLY clean remove your make up and clean your
face at night.
I struggle
with this one myself. Try not to sleep
with your make up on, it gets on the pillow and leaves a stain, but most of all
it clogs up your pores and caused breakouts.
Also the products used on your face only last for so long before they
start to degrade and release free radical (bad stuff)
